This Artist Handbook is designed to guide you through the process of setting up your profile, listing your artwork, and managing your sales on our platform. Please read this handbook carefully to ensure you understand and comply with our policies and procedures.

Creating Your Artist Profile and KYC Verification

Before you can start selling your artwork on our platform, you must create an artist profile and complete the KYC verification process. The KYC process helps us ensure the security and integrity of our marketplace by verifying the identity of our artists. 

To create your artist profile and complete KYC verification, follow these steps: 

Register for an account on 333Gallery and select “Artist” as your account type. 
Provide the necessary personal information, including your full name, date of birth, address, and contact details. This information will be used solely for KYC verification and will be kept confidential.
Upload a high-quality profile picture or logo that represents you as an artist.
Submit a copy of your government-issued identification (e.g., passport, driver’s license, or national ID card) for KYC verification. Your ID must be valid and clearly show your name, photo, and date of birth. In some cases, we may request additional documentation to confirm your identity.
Write a brief biography or artist statement to introduce yourself to potential buyers. Share your artistic background, style, and inspirations.
Optionally, add links to your website or social media profiles to help buyers learn more about you and your work.

Once your KYC verification is complete and your artist profile is approved, you will be able to list your artwork for sale on our platform. Your profile serves as an introduction to potential buyers, so make sure it reflects your unique personality and artistic style.

Listing Your Artwork

When listing your artwork for sale, please provide the following information to ensure a smooth and successful selling experience:

High-quality images of your artwork, showing the entire piece and any relevant details or angles. Include close-ups of textures, signatures, and other important features to give potential buyers a comprehensive view of your artwork. 
A descriptive title for your artwork that accurately represents the piece and captures the attention of potential buyers.
Medium, materials, and dimensions of the artwork. Be specific about the techniques and materials used to create the piece, as this information can be important to collectors. 
A brief description, including any inspiration or background information about the piece, as well as any unique characteristics or details that make your artwork stand out.
Pricing information, including the price of the artwork and shipping costs. Be sure to research the market and price your artwork competitively while still considering your costs and desired profit margin. 
Available inventory or edition size (if applicable). If your artwork is part of a limited edition or series, clearly state the edition size and the specific number of the piece being sold (e.g., “5/50” for the fifth piece in an edition of 50).
Framing or mounting options (if applicable). If your artwork is sold framed or mounted, provide details about the framing or mounting materials, as well as any additional costs associated with these options.
Estimated production and shipping times. If your artwork is made-to-order or requires additional time for production, clearly state the expected production and shipping times to avoid misunderstandings with buyers.
Artwork care and maintenance instructions. Guide how to properly care for and maintain your artwork to ensure its longevity and preserve its value.

Please ensure that your artwork listings are accurate and up-to-date. Inaccurate or misleading information may result in the removal of your listings or suspension of your account.

Shipping and Packaging

When an artwork is sold, you are responsible for properly packaging the piece according to our packaging guidelines, which will be provided to you. After the artwork is securely packaged and ready for shipment, please notify us by replying to our email. Our team will then schedule a courier to pick up the artwork and arrange for shipping to the buyer. Shipping costs will be covered by the buyer and reimbursed to you by the platform.

Payment and Commissions

We will pay you the agreed-upon amount for your sold artwork after the buyer has confirmed their satisfaction with the purchase, by our return policy. Payment will be made within 14 days of the buyer receiving the artwork, provided no return has been initiated. 333Gallery takes a commission on each sale, which will be clearly outlined in our artist agreement.

Returns and Refunds

Buyers have the right to return the artwork within 7 days of receipt, as per our return policy. If a buyer decides to return a piece, they must notify us within the return period. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, and the artwork must be returned in its original condition. If the artwork is returned by our policy, we will issue a refund to the buyer and notify you of the return.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

As an artist on our platform, you retain full copyright and ownership of your artwork. By listing your artwork for sale, you grant 333Gallery a non-exclusive license to use, display, and reproduce images of your artwork for promotional and marketing purposes related to our platform.

Community Guidelines and Code of Conduct

We expect all artists on our platform to treat each other and our customers with respect and professionalism. Harassment, discrimination, or any other inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in the suspension or removal of your account

Promoting and Selling Your Artwork

At 333Gallery, we are committed to helping you succeed as an artist on our platform. We provide various tools and resources to promote and sell your artwork effectively:

Featured Artist Spotlights: We regularly showcase selected artists on our homepage, social media channels, and newsletters to increase visibility and attract potential buyers.
Social Media Promotion: We actively promote our artists and their artwork on our social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. By tagging or mentioning 333Gallery in your social media posts, you increase the chances of your work being shared on our channels. 
Blog and Artist Interviews: Our blog features artist interviews, behind-the-scenes stories, and art-related articles. We may invite you to participate in an interview or contribute a guest post, providing additional exposure to your artwork.
SEO and Online Visibility: Our platform is optimized for search engines, ensuring that your artwork is easily discoverable by potential buyers searching for art online.
Physical and Virtual Exhibitions: 333Gallery regularly hosts both physical and virtual exhibitions to showcase and promote the work of our artists. Selected artists will be invited to submit their artwork for these events, providing additional opportunities for sales and networking. Physical exhibitions may take place in galleries, art fairs, or other venues, while virtual exhibitions will be hosted on our platform or other online spaces.
Marketing and Advertising: We invest in targeted marketing and advertising campaigns to attract art collectors and buyers to our platform, increasing the chances of your artwork being discovered and sold.

Legal and Content Guidelines

When listing your artwork on our platform, it is essential to comply with our content guidelines and applicable laws. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in the removal of your listings or suspension of your account.

Adult Content: Artwork containing explicit or pornographic content is not allowed on our platform. We reserve the right to remove any content that we deem to be inappropriate or offensive to our users.
Hate Speech and Discrimination: Artwork that promotes hate speech, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics is strictly prohibited.
Intellectual Property Rights: You must ensure that you have the necessary rights and permissions to sell your artwork on our platform. Do not list artwork that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others, including copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets. 
Counterfeit or Stolen Artwork: The sale of counterfeit or stolen artwork is strictly prohibited on our platform. We take all reports of fraudulent or suspicious activity seriously and will cooperate with law enforcement authorities in investigating such cases.
Misrepresentation: Do not misrepresent your artwork or its origins, including falsely claiming that a piece is an original, part of a limited edition, or created using specific techniques or materials when it is not. Such misrepresentation may result in legal action from buyers or other affected parties.

By listing your artwork on our platform, you agree to abide by these legal and content guidelines, as well as any other applicable laws and regulations. We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for artists and buyers, and we expect all users to contribute to this goal.
