"My girls may look like little children, but they embody both you and me in the real world." I am a self-taught artist who began painting in early 2019, despite not attending art school. My work features vivid, colorful compositions that merge cuteness and anger in a unique pop-culture style. Each piece is created by meticulously mixing colors by hand, showcasing my distinctive painting techniques. Inspired by Japanese Shoujo Manga (少女漫画) and contemporary pop art, I blend delicate flat painting with dynamic, childlike strokes to develop my signature pop art style. My art goes beyond simple portraits—it tells stories of daily life through rebellious, young female figures. By using Appropriation Techniques, I reinterpret familiar imagery to comment on deeper themes like social anxiety and loneliness. While the bright, playful colors evoke happiness and charm, a closer look reveals hidden layers of dissatisfaction, sadness, and anger, reflecting the struggles people face in a society where true self-expression is often suppressed.
333Gallery Bangkok (Warehouse 30) is proud to present “Somewhere Else in the World: Charoenkrung,” a solo exhibition by Thai artist Pasutt Kanrattanasutra. This thought-provoking showcase explores the complex, fragile relationships between communities, urban spaces, and nature, focusing on the dynamic Charoenkrung district. Running throughout February 2025, the exhibition invites audiences to reflect on the impacts of urban development and the balance (or lack thereof) between progress, sustainability, and preservation.

“When was the last time we let our emotions and feelings run free, without limits? For me, it’s when I paint, swing dance, listen to jazz, and sip a good cocktail… Moments where emotions overflow, shifting freely and evolving almost constantly. Mood Swing was born from this desire, inspired by bringing together the activities I love—painting, swing dancing, and jazz music. These three passions have something in common: they are like moments where time pauses, letting us set our emotions free to roam. Painting lets us unleash our inner self; dancing lets the body move freely; and jazz lets emotions leap with every beat.”
