Thailand, the “Land of Smiles”, is a place where tradition and change exist side by side, and where contemporary art continues to evolve with striking individuality. This exhibition presents the artworks of 15 Thai artists, each offering a unique and deeply personal perspective on identity, culture, and emotion.

Meet Bell Nakai, a rising Thai artist based in Japan, known for her bold, colorful, and thought-provoking pop art. Inspired by Japanese Shoujo Manga and pop culture, her artworks blend cuteness with deeper emotions, revealing themes of social anxiety, loneliness, and rebellion hidden beneath playful visuals.

This exhibition starts from the curiosity about the long history of female personifications reflected widely in our visual cultures nowadays such as the Statue of Liberty, Venus of Willendorf, Monalisa or the Earth Goddess (Pra Mae Torani). These icons prompt us to reflect on how we perceive femininity and what meanings we ascribe to the female bodies. These questions lead to further curiosity about the female bodies in the contemporary context: when they think about a female body, what images come to mind?

“Somewhere Else in the World: Charoenkrung,” a solo exhibition by Thai artist Pasutt Kanrattanasutra. This thought-provoking showcase explores the complex, fragile relationships between communities, urban spaces, and nature, focusing on the dynamic Charoenkrung district. Running throughout February 2025, the exhibition invites audiences to reflect on the impacts of urban development and the balance (or lack thereof) between progress, sustainability, and preservation

The Mirror Pavilion exhibition resembles a mirrored surface on all sides, both inside and outside. The reflections show the perspective of the viewer, along with the surrounding space.

The exhibition 400-700 Nanometers by Aphisit Sidsunthia delves into the imperfection and limitations of human perception. The title refers to the wavelength range of visible light, a narrow segment within the vast electromagnetic spectrum. Other familiar yet invisible wavelengths include X-rays, UV rays, microwaves, and radio waves. This limited perception underscores the inherent constraints of human understanding and existence. Through his monochromatic paintings, Aphisit reflects on these limitations, emphasizing ambiguity, imperfection, and the infinite nature of humanity.

Luck Maisalee, a trailblazing artist renowned for his witty and thought-provoking critique of capitalism and consumerism, has once again captivated audiences with his latest exhibition, "Art Hit Story." Through his signature style, reminiscent of the vibrant and graphic Western commercial art design from the 1960s and 70s, Maisalee skillfully weaves together pop culture icons, satirical puns, and repurposed materials to create a truly unique and nostalgic experience.
