This exhibition is a collaboration between artist duo Praiva Raiva and Phatcharaphan Raiva, which showcases the perfect blend of painting and sculpture. Phatcharaphan uses watercolors to draw on paper. Meanwhile, Praiva creates three-dimensional (3D) sculptures. Praiva’s sculptures are rich in imagination and full of life force. which was inspired by the experience of living in isolation. While Phatcharaphan’s work tells stories and conveys messages in each period of life that is constantly changing. It’s like everyone’s life. Before working with my husband on this project Phatcharaphan’s watercolors often capture the subtlety and lively movement of nature. Especially the energy from flowers. which many people overlook Although the concepts and artworks of both of them are different, But they all value similar things. That is the life force of the nature around us. in a different perspective They try to convey beauty through art based on experiences and feelings. while still maintaining the standard of beauty perfectly.

In this project, the pair challenged themselves by working closely together. by respecting each other’s boundaries, each maintains their own imagination around the same stories and themes. But there are different points of view. Paiva’s three-dimensional sculptures are presented in two dimensions on paper. which in fact his sculptures were unable to create the surrounding atmosphere. But Phatcharaphan’s paintings and imagination perfectly complement and add a new feeling to Praiva’s work. These things may not happen. If you look at an artist’s work as a personal way of thinking. Allowing other artists to add or take away was a challenge.

However, for this series, The true essence is not in paintings or sculptures. But it’s about trying to describe a family that puts their own ego aside. Allow family members to invade their personal space. If that is a good wish that has been explained and listened to with reason without bias.

Family is the smallest but most important unit. Because it is the starting point for molding quality personnel into society. The Raiva’s family therefore values cooperation in working together this time. It is as if it is a personal matter that has a collective way of thinking. and see this as an opportunity to learn from each other sharing fantasies for them as one family. This is what they intend to communicate through their work.
