Nestled within a threshold of crimson shadow, Ripped and Torn (裂 かれ、引き裂かれて) presents a fractured portrait—a doubled face, at once two and one, split down the middle and veiled in tension. In this diptych, the mirrored forms echo the internal struggle of individual identity and collective experience. Harrowing lines cross flesh and shadow, conjuring wounds both visible and hidden, memory and loss, longing and resilience. The image gazes back in silence, suspended between connection and separation, inviting the viewer to reckon with the beauty and pain found at site of rupture. In the context of *Takumi in Time*, installation asks: what is revealed, and what remains hidden, when the self is divided? Where does healing begin
