ABOUT ARTIST

JP Pemapsorn, known as June, is a Thai abstract artist whose work explores the interplay between emotion, form, and perception. Early in her career, she was drawn to the visual arts through her father’s architectural influence, which shaped her appreciation for structure, space, and composition. Over time, she transitioned from exploring realism, impressionism, and surrealism to finding her true voice in abstraction—where she feels most at home.

Inspired by Italian sculpture, particularly how marble captures movement and breathes life into solid stone, she translates this essence into her paintings. Her work is distinguished by its dynamic compositions, evocative color palettes, and intricate surface textures, creating a sense of depth and fluidity, as if the forms within might shift with the viewer’s gaze. Through the fusion of painting, poetry, and philosophy, she transforms abstract concepts into deeply felt experiences, inviting contemplation beyond words.

Her work has been exhibited internationally, ranging from abstract canvases to large-scale installations. Constantly pushing the boundaries of artistic expression, she explores new ways to redefine abstraction and its relationship with perception. Beyond her solo practice, June collaborates with artists, architects, and creative teams to push the boundaries of artistic expression. Her projects range from intimate canvases and street murals to large-scale installations that merge art with architectural spaces. She has contributed to cultural street murals for embassies, 3D art museums, commercial television projects, and even a large-scale digital art initiative for the Thailand National Memorial.

June’s work has been exhibited internationally, spanning Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Australia, Latvia, Italy, Poland, and the United States. Whether working alone or alongside a team, her art bridges thought and emotion, using abstraction as a universal language that resonates on an intuitive level. Through her evolving exploration of texture, movement, and perception, she continues to redefine abstraction’s role in contemporary art.
