Pasutt Kanrattanasutra, a Thai artist, holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Faculty of Painting, Silpakorn University, a certificate from the Ecole Nationale Superieure Des Beaux Arts (ENSBA), Paris, France, and a certificate from the marble sculpture course, Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze, Italy. He received a scholarship for the winner of a national or international work from the Thai government to study for an MFA. at Goldsmiths College, University of London, and completed a doctorate from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Chiang Mai University.
Pasutt’s work focuses on socio-political discourse, particularly contemporary ecological issues. His art critically examines the current state of existence, questioning its meaning and how it is passed on to future generations. He explores sustainability and the balance between the environment, economy, and culture. His art fosters dialogue about contemporary society, decision-making, and community engagement, emphasizing alternative forms of interaction to deepen connections with the natural world and raise awareness of environmental challenges.
