Jedsada Tangtrakulwong (b. 1972) graduated from The Slade School of Fine Art, University College London. In 2005,Jedsada started developing in his practice an interest on site-specific installations, focusing on the architectural structure of specific locations, as well as looking to their social, cultural, and political contexts. For his installation Jedsada usually collaborates with people from different areas of expertise. In some of his installations, viewers are an essential part of the installation.
Jedasada’s works have been exhibited both locally and internationally such as the wrok “Swing, Hill” featured in Secret Archipelago (2025), Palais de Tokyo, Paris, ; and the works “Downfall” featured in Ties of History: Art in Southeast Asia (2018) Metropolitan Museum of Manila. He will participate in the upcoming edition of Bangkok Art Biennale 2024, Thailand. Jedsada lives and works in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
