My name is Jaturun Rungruengsaowapak. I am a Japanese fish printing (Gyotaku) artist with over three years of experience. I have studied at Tatsunokokai (Tokyo) and Takuseikai (Osaka), the oldest Gyotaku schools in Japan. Currently, I focus on using natural pigments to ensure that the fish can still be consumed after printing. In the Gyotaku world, most prints are made using inedible paints, resulting in wasted fish. My work does not include any artistic embellishments, except for painting the eyes. My goal is to print all freshwater and saltwater fish species in Thailand.
